New Year Honours for Wolfson members

Two College members have been rewarded for their achievements in the New Year Honours List 2012. Dr Carrie Herbert, who studied for her PhD at Wolfson, was awarded an MBE for services to education as the founder of the pioneering Cambridge-based charity Red Balloon, which works with bullied children to help them return to mainstream education. Mr Matthew Moss, Senior Member, and Private Secretary to the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz, was made a Member of the Royal Victorian Order (MVO).
