Wolfson subscribes to the Thursday evening chamber concert series at Kettle's Yard. There are 4 tickets (3 for students, 1 for fellows/senior members) available for use by College members at each performance, on a first come first served basis. Please email krt23 if you would like to attend any of this term's concerts (programme available here).

The termly ecumenical College Service takes place this evening (Tuesday 25 October) at 6.15pm in the Lee Hall. The service is led by the Wolfson Chaplaincy Team, with contributions from the College Choir accompanied by Andrew Goldman, and will be followed by a drinks reception. All welcome!
Linnaeus and the Troglodyte

Dr Christina Skott (Director of Studies in History, Fellow and Tutor at Wolfson), is the speaker at this week's Lunchtime Seminar on Wednesday 26 October at 1.00pm, when she will consider 'Linnaeus and the Troglodyte: natural history and Europe's encounter with human diversity in the eighteenth century'. The seminar takes place in the Combination Room where you're encouraged to bring your lunch; tea & coffee are provided.

Wolfson College Music Society hosts a concert of home-grown talent at its next Lunchtime Recital on Saturday 29 October. Director of Music, Lynette Alcántara (mezzo soprano), and PhD student Andrew Goldman (piano) will perform a programme of American song, to include works by Barber, Copland and Berstein. 1.30pm, Lee Hall. Admission free (retiring collection).
Building renamed in honour of founding Bursar

Jack King On 13 October, a celebration was held to mark the naming of the Jack King Building, in honour of one of the College's founding figures. The building (formerly the Old Library) now bears a handsome stone sign, as well as a plaque in the foyer commemorating
