A view of the College, painted by Tom Davies, is now available for purchase from the College Office.
"As part of the celebrations of the College's 40th anniversary the President asked me to a submit a picture of the College. The method I tried to copy is that chosen by artists in the 17th century to illustrate the grandeur of the properties of wealthy patrons, which they completed with impressive skill without the benefit of flight of any sort, and of course, computers. The picture is thus of the college from, say, 500 feet in the air above the other side of Barton Road, around Fulbrooke Road. The picture has been made into prints which have been on sale since then, but some are still left, so with Phil Stigwood, I have added a bit of interest by numbering some of the interesting trees in the grounds and providing an index at the bottom of the picture.
Unframed copies of this picture are on sale at £25, and framing can be arranged for an additional £35. The cost of making the prints was met by the Friends of Wolfson College Boat Club, and any income from their sale will be used to support the club."
