15 October: All standard undergraduate applications and those applying for Architecture, History of Art, Law, Medicine, Graduate Course in Medicine, Music, Philosophy, or Veterinary Medicine. Applications received after this date for subjects not stated above will be held over to the next admissions round in March.
Applicants who are able to complete an application by the 15 October deadline are advised to do so rather than wait for the March admissions round, as places for popular subjects may be filled.
Earlier deadlines apply to applicants wishing to be interviewed overseas. Please see the University of Cambridge website for further details.
1 March: We recognise that for many mature students who are returning to education, the 15 October deadline might be too early. We therefore run a second admissions round later in the academic year. Applications for Architecture, History of Art, Law, Medicine, Graduate Course in Medicine, Music, Philosophy, or Veterinary Medicine are never considered during the second admissions round. Please note that if applying for the second admissions round, your application will not be entered into any form of pool should Wolfson not wish to make you an offer.
Please also note that after our first admissions round places may be filled on certain courses, and we will not consider applications for such subjects during our second round.
Unfortunately we are not able to consider applications during our second admissions round in 2013 for the following subjects:
- Economics
- Human, Social, and Political Sciences
- Engineering
