'Entrepreneurship and Risk Taking: How to Foster an Entrepreneurial Society'

In this business briefing Dr Shailendra Vyakarnam will explore the background context to the rise in entrepreneurship in the UK over the last 3 decades. He will also discuss the importance of entrepreneurship to the UK economy and the skills required. Dr Shailendra Vyakarnam is Director for the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning, Cambridge Judge Business School and Senior Member of Wolfson College.

The event will be held on Thursday 30 May from 18:30-20:30 at the Oxford and Cambridge Club, 71 Pall Mall, London.

Professor Margaret MacMillan, Warden of St Antony's College Oxford, will talk about the outbreak of the First World War.
