The yeast is important to researchers of heritable diseases and cancers because its cells functions much like human cells, and the PomBase database gathers together information about its behaviour from a variety of sources. The database is the product of a collaboration between researchers from the University of Cambridge, the European Bioinformatics Institute (EBI) and University College London (UCL), and is part of a 5-year project funded by the Wellcome Trust. Wolfson has alumni spread all over the world, working in many professions. Graduates of Wolfson remain members of the College, even after they have left, and have certain rights and privileges.

We are always pleased to hear from members, and keep in touch by sending out the College magazine and newsletter to all current and past members of Wolfson. Past issues of the Ring True newsletter and the Wolfson Review are available online. We welcome news from alumni for inclusion in the Wolfson Review each year.

Stay in touch

Use our online contact form to send us your details and updates.

We have unfortunately lost contact with some of our alumni over the years. If you suspect you are one of the 'Wolfson lost', or you are in contact with someone else who might be, then please have a look at the current list of lost members.
